Yes, they treat my garden as though it is their personal buffet, but they are so beautiful -- graceful and fey. And whose heart doesn't melt at the sight of babies?
Lovely photos. Rather not have them in my yard, because when they find my daylilies it will really be a feast for them. So far, for some reason, they don't seem to have found my daylilies. It still amazes me. It would be mixed blessings if I lost my daylilies but got photos as good as yours.
My sister gets these on her farm in Michigan, Mary (where we will go for this weekend!). We also see them in our woods from time to time, here in Atlanta. I always hope they're okay...getting enough water and food on their own!

WOW! Fantastic capture. They are so sweet!!! I'd lend my garden over to them anytime...
Oh my goodness, that is a great picture!!
If I had these lovely creatures in my yard, I'd leave food out for them just to see them (and photograph them!). Wonderful capture.

they are stunningly beautiful! Great shot.
Now that's just a delightful photo.... we have a few of those little guys running around here in the last few days. You caught them very nicely! =)

Ginnie -- don't worry, they are the best fed deer in the world. They feast on all the finest perrennials and annuals in the neighborhood!
