Downriver

Crossing the Delaware River, between Pennsylvania and New Jersey, looking south.  We were coming home from some college visits in Philadelphia, and I snapped this from the car as we crossed the bridge into New Jersey.

To view wonderful sky shots from all over the world, please visit Skywatch Friday.

That is beautiful. The river is gorgeous. My only close body of water is a very muddy Rio Grande river. Yours is MUCH nicer!

It looks so serene. I think the last time I crossed that river was in 1968, the Beatles were kings then. :-)

Hi Julie, thanks for visiting my blog today and leaving a comment. I too love linking poetry with my pictures which are mostly from the area we live in, moors and the seaside here in North Yorkshire.

A very pretty scene. It reminds me of Huck Fin and I can imagine sitting on the side with my barefeet dipped in.
