Delicate

As a rule, I do not have great luck photographing insects.  It's all my fault -- I don't have the necessary patience.  I was lucky this time, though, and got a decent shot of this dragonfly.  At least I think it is a dragonfly...

Mary: That is a nice dragonfly capture. Dragonfly put their 4 wings out as you have shown. The Damselfly puts it's wings up over their body when at rest. I have shot quiet a few of both this year and love every photo.

Quite a beautiful dragonfly. Nice shot. And I'm with you. If they don't want to sit still while I walk over there, I don't have the patience (time, really) to sit and wait for them to come in shooting range.

Your pics are so serene and beautiful with a really fragile feeling to them - like this one.

It's a great capture! I love how the background is like a muted green and blue...perfectly coordinating with the blue on the dragonfly! :)
In a Soft Light is the perfect title for your blog..your pics are amazing, and all seem to have a soft light about them!:)
