I love the beach at day's end, when most of the people have left to seek their dinner, and the light is soft. There is no more mad rush to wring pleasure out of the day, only a quiet and peaceful acceptance of the night to come. The air is cool, the slanting sun is pale, and it is a kind of blessing to linger under the soft sky.

Lovely photo. I would definitely recognize that as the Jersey shore. I have only been once but it definitely leaves its impression. I would love to go back and visit again. It is very soothing to see the day come to an end near the ocean......I long for that sometimes.....I don't live very close to a beach :(
I did go to Big Sur in April, so I can always revisit those memories!
