Fairy Dresses

When I was little, I always thought that hosta blooms looked like fairy dresses.  But then, I also thought that fairies lived under toadstools, and drank the morning dew in buttercups.  Happy Tuesday!

OH my, I thought I was the only one who thought those kinds of things :) I still believe in fairies.

They do look like fairy dresses. And some fairies do live under toadstools.

Love your name for this image. There's a softness to this image that I find particularly appealing. Nice!

But they do! They do! Faeries do all of those things! :-)

Yes, Hosta blossoms are Faerie dresses. And you are able to capture them so well, and close up. And softly, of course.

I loved imagining faeries when I was a child, growing up in Margate, NJ. I had a special bush that I was convinced they lived. I remember trying to build little bits of furniture for them.

Once again, perfect title for a perfect picture!

Love the name and the photos. Even though macro is my passion, never have photographed the hosta's blooms that close. (Go figure!) Now I will have to wait until next year for that idea you gave me, since my hosta blooms have already faded.
