Morning Snow

Yesterday morning we awoke to this scene out the window. The weather reports had said that the storm would pass us by, so this was unexpected. And being unexpected, all the more beautiful. Waking to snow in the morning always elicits that feeling of childhood magic for me. Although I must admit, I didn't have to go out into it like my husband and daughter. lol

I could sit and enjoy it from the window, which is where this picture came from. :)

I feel the same way about snowy days...I think I may still feel excited about them from being so happy about "snow days" at school as children...

So beautiful, Mary!! I'm happy to be reminded of how lovely it can be to look out on snow – as you say, not having to go out in it! We haven't had any this year, which is pretty normal, so thank you for sharing. Have a cozy and safe weekend, my friend! xo – g
